While in Spencer, be sure to stop by our shop and dig at our "mini-mine". We maintain a large stock pile of mine run ore to dig through.

The cost is $10.00 per adult (age 15 and up) and $5.00 per child under 15 (ages 4-14)

***Note: Not recommended for kids under age 3 and under. ***

The entrance fee allows you 1 lb. of ore. Extra pounds are $10.00 each

Our Headquarters is located at 27 Opal Ave. in Spencer, Idaho.

We carry a full line of cutting supplies, rough opal, books, rought, tumbling supplies and finished jewelry at our shop. We also have a nice selection of other gemstone specimens from throughout the northwest.

Stock Pile Rules:

1. Check in at the shop before entering

2. Safety Glasses / eye protection are Required by everyone

3. NO rock throwing

4. No Pets

5. ALL children must be accompanied by an adult

6. ALL rocks will be sorted and chipped in the stockpile, not on deck

7. When finished, weigh out rocks in the shop

8. Open toed shoes or sandals are not allowed
